In the lead up to the United Nations High-level Dialogue on Energy in September 2021, ministers from national governments, leaders from business, cities, civil societies, and youth organizations gathered virtually for Ministerial-level Thematic Forums. The goal of this week-long program, taking place from June 21st-25th, is for stakeholders to have a chance to showcase solutions and partnerships, and set out voluntary commitments and actions.<\/span><\/p>\n Our big announcement this week was the <\/span>Launching the Solutions Movement<\/span><\/i> Energy Compact! Amidst Energy Compacts announced by large organizations like <\/span>Google<\/span><\/a>, the <\/span>IKEA Foundation and the Rockefeller Foundation<\/span><\/a>, and member states like Denmark, the Netherlands, Germany, and others, we announced our ambitious, youth-led Energy Compact which aims to:<\/span><\/p>\n Young people, including many from Student Energy\u2019s global network, were a strong presence at the Ministerial segments throughout the week.
